Amouage Set Design
We shaped a terrain where scent could exist, allowing material, atmosphere, and image to come together through earth.
Project Description
For the visual production of their new fragrance series, Amouage invited Mono Earth to develop a material-based collaboration rooted in earth.
The project evolves from making, to image, and into spatial installation.
For the Amouage photoshoot, Mono Earth created a series of rammed earth units using the distinctive red soils of Cappadocia. These elements formed a spatial backdrop where fragrance and material presence could meet.
The layered textures of earth introduced a natural depth and atmosphere, framing the perfumes within a context shaped by time, geology, and tactility. The contrast between refined glass objects and raw earth surfaces created a dialogue between luxury and nature.
The set became more than a background—it functioned as a material narrative, where scent, image, and earth converged.
